British Army’s Intelligence Corps 3MI Battalion’s Intelligence Challenge, supported by Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association for Greater London!
Few teams from City organisations take part in the annual Intelligence Challenge, where each team usually comes from companies that actively engage with Defence, who have signed the Armed Forces Covenant and are at different stages of the Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). By practising military-style analysis, these companies have a chance to experience first-hand how transferable skills gained in the armed forces can benefit a business.
Participants have to complete their analysis and produce a plan of action which they present to a task-force command board of 3 MI Bn officers and soldiers. It is a wonderful effort by the leadership team and Reservists from 3MI, whose own employers enable them to deliver this fantastic event and act as mentors to all the teams.
It demonstrates the diversity of thought and process from reservists which all contributes to a more effective UK Defence output.
