RFCA for Greater London were honoured to host employees from supportive employers and charities involved with the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC) and the Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) at the Household Cavalry Museum, Horse Guards Parade, London.
Among those attending, a few were organisations that have been awarded a Gold or Silver ERS award and have revalidated their ERS commitment again this year.
Guests were welcomed by Drew Jeacock, Head of Engagement, RFCA for Greater London with a few words about his time with the Household Division.
Nicola Ayrton-Guest, Museum Director entertained the guests with her amazing facts and stories about the Household Division from its ceremonies to punishments that are still ongoing!
Revalidating an organisation’s commitment to the Armed Forces through the Employer Recognition Scheme’s Gold and Silver awards is a great achievement. To revalidate, an organisation is required to continuously (over a period of five years) support and commit to the pledges made by them when they were originally awarded.
